Who we are

The Shortcut Company is a small business based in Saint-Lazare, Quebec. The person responsible for protecting personal information is the owner, reachable at hello@theshortcutcompany.com.

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us: usually your name, email address, and what you tell us about your business, for example through the contact form (which opens your own email app) or by email.

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or third-party scripts. Our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security. Page fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads.

Why we use it

To answer your request, prepare a plan and price, and do the work you approve. We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to a mailing list without asking.

Where it is kept, and for how long

Messages are kept in our business email account. We keep them only as long as needed to answer you and, if you become a client, for as long as our business and tax records require. Some of our service providers (email, hosting) may store data outside Quebec; we choose providers with appropriate protections.

AI tools

We use AI tools in our work and we say so. If your project involves AI, we will explain what information the tools see before we start.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to hello@theshortcutcompany.com and we will answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
